Sam’s Club is fulfilling its commitment to “Bring the Merry” this holiday season. Recently, Sam’s Club, along with Laugh Out Loud and Kevin Hart, celebrated five organizations that significantly impact children’s lives by surprising them with $100,000 each during a series of virtual and in-person announcements nationwide. In addition to the financial support, select families and children from these organizations were delighted to have their unique holiday wishes—ranging from laptops to karaoke machines and dollhouses—granted by the trio.

The organizations that received these donations include the Special Needs Network in Los Angeles, California; Houston Child Advocates in Houston, Texas; Boys & Girls Club of Springfield in Missouri; Positive Tomorrows in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida in Orlando.

“One of the greatest things you can do for yourself is to believe in others,” stated Hart. “I’ve always had people who believed in me, and I believe in passing that belief on to others. The donations we made supported organizations dedicated to the future of children and their families. I’m proud that we were able to collaborate to make a significant impact.”

Renowned for his ability to make audiences laugh, Hart brightened the spirits of many across the country in just a few hours. Families and children gathered, believing they were attending a holiday party organized by Sam’s Club, only to be pleasantly surprised when they joined a virtual call with Hart waiting on the other end.

During the calls, Hart shared the exciting news of monetary donations and individual gifts, while Sam’s Club associates were present to personally deliver the items to the recipients. To wrap up the day, Hart treated 10 families from the Special Needs Network to a holiday shopping spree at a Sam’s Club in Oxnard, California.
